Kamrul has particular expertise in debt and asset recovery, regularly acting on behalf of individuals and businesses in a variety of disputes. These include breach of contract claims, consumer issues, and money claims. He also has a proven track record in residential landlord and tenant matters, frequently assisting landlords in recovering possession of their properties under both Section 8 and Section 21 notices as well as more nuanced options.
Additionally, Kamrul advises on disputes between co-owners of property, particularly in cases involving unmarried parties. He supports clients in reaching negotiated settlements where possible, or in pursuing court applications such as Orders for Sale when necessary.
Kamrul joined Tayntons in October 2025 and heads the firm’s Litigation Department. He studied law at the University of the West of England in Bristol, graduating in 2010, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the same institution. Kamrul qualified as a solicitor in 2019 following experience at both large city firms in the Southwest and also at an established regional practice in Gloucestershire.
Beyond his legal career, Kamrul enjoys practical projects, from property renovations to vehicle servicing and mechanical restoration. Life at home keeps him equally engaged, as he balances his professional role with being a hands-on father to two young daughters, an experience that brings its own challenges and rewards!
