Sophie studied Law at the University of Reading before going on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol in 2019. Sophie then completed her training contract at two firms in Cheltenham before qualifying as a solicitor in October 2022.
Sophie now works as part of our Private Client Team and is able to assist clients with Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as applications for Probate and dealing with the administration of estates. Sophie has experience dealing with taxable estates as well as applying for grants of representation when someone has died without leaving a Will. Sophie is passionate about supporting clients when they are going through sad and difficult times in their lives, she believes that it is important to take the stress of administration away from the clients so that they can take the time they need to grieve.
In her spare time Sophie enjoys socialising with family and friends, going on holiday and supporting Gloucester Rugby.
