Ruth Appleton graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Sociology and Social Policy. She joined Tayntons in 2001 initially in the re-mortgage department. Ruth has specialised in Wills and Probate since 2003 and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2006.
After working for an in-house legal team, and for Solicitors firms in Oxford and Cirencester, Ruth returned to Tayntons in 2013 as a Legal Executive in the Private Client department.
Ruth has over 15 years experience dealing with Wills (including Trust provisions and Inheritance Tax advice where required), Trusts (both creation and administration), Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration either under a Will or the Intestacy provisions.
Ruth is also interested in Probate and the administration of Estates and dealing with Trust and taxation issues. She has nearly completed the qualification to become a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
