Lucy Watson joined Tayntons as an Employment Paralegal in 2017 having previously worked for Pinsent Masons LLP and Harrison Clark Rickerbys.
She advises both Employers and Employees on a variety of Employment matters. Lucy has 8 years experience dealing with Employment matters. Currently, Lucy is studying for her CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources Practice and being a Graduate member of CILEx which will enable Lucy to become registered as a Chartered Legal Executive in April 2019.
In her work for Employers Lucy deals with redundancy situations and drafting/reviewing employment contracts and employee handbooks. She also advises on Employment Tribunal matters. As well as dealing with Settlement Agreements in relation to employees exiting a Company and grievance enquiries, Lucy handles Employment Tribunal claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract.
Lucy is very approachable and always makes her clients feel at ease. Outside of Tayntons, Lucy is a keen traveller and a massive football fan (she is even a season ticket holder!).
