Katerina Hale graduated with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) degree from the University of the West of England and after completing the Law Society Finals, she secured a training contract at Morgan Bruce in Cardiff (now Blake Morgan). Katerina joined Tayntons in 1993. She was made an Associate in 1996.
Katerina initially joined the Personal Injury team dealing with claimant personal injury claims arising from accidents at work, public liability claims and road traffic accidents. She also dealt with Criminal Injury Compensation Authority (CICA) claims and fatal accident claims. Throughout her career, Katerina has been successful in representing hundreds of clients in a range of legal disputes. With over 21 years of experience, she is a highly skilled and experienced litigator.
In 2015, Katerina joined the Education department and works alongside Robert Love. She now specialises in SEN Law and advises parents of children and young people with special educational needs in relation to appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST); permanent exclusions from school; discrimination claims and benefit appeals.
