Kate Shields studied Law at the University of South Wales and graduated in 2011. Kate joined Tayntons in 2015 having previously worked in the legal department of a large national insurer dealing with road traffic accident claims for Claimants and Defendants.
With over 7 years experience as a Paralegal, Kate completed her Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice and became a graduate member of CILEx in 2017. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in June, 2019.
Kate deals with all types of personal injury accident claims including; road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public and product liability and medical negligence. She is very approachable and is always happy to go out of her way to ensure that her clients fully understand the litigation process.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family and a spot of reading (when she gets the chance!).
