Alan Bird
Senior Partner
One of Tayntons' senior partners, Alan joined the firm in 1984 having moved from London-based Herbert Smith. His key areas of practice include all aspects of commercial property and general commercial work.
With some long-term local business partnerships, Alan really enjoys the interaction he has with his clients alongside the daily challenges of the corporate world. He works closely with the firm's residential property team and also has overall responsibility for client care matters.
In his own time, he is a bit of a sportsman playing golf, cricket and tennis in addition to an annual sporting event with long standing university friends.
