As one of the official sponsors of Gloucester Rugby Club, Tayntons LLP congratulates the Cherry and Whites for its victory in the LV= Cup yesterday (Sunday, 20 March), defeating Newcastle decisively. Gloucester lifted the trophy thanks to a convincing 34-7 win over the Newcastle Falcons and has booked a place in next season’s Heineken Cup.
It was Gloucester’s eleventh win in a row in all competitions and makes Gloucester the first English team to secure a place in the 2011/12 Heineken Cup – a great result for the club, the city, supporters and the people of Gloucester. It was also the first time in five years that Gloucester has won any silverware to bring back to Kingsholm.
