Ian Pettifer, Employment Law specialist at Tayntons LLP is delighted to be co-hosting a Breakfast Seminar on the Agency Worker Regulations on 13th July with Travail Employment Group.
The Agency Worker Regulations 2010 come into force in October 2011. This legislation will entitle agency workers to be given equal rights to permanent employees in some of the terms and conditions of employment, including pay, working time and annual leave. Travail Employment Group works to the highest standards ensuring that the service it provides to clients meets the requirements of the new law. Their reputation for excellence has come from providing companies and individuals with an outstanding recruitment service to suit their every need.
At a time when the economic outlook is still uncertain, although many businesses are starting to grow, engaging agency workers can be an attractive option. However, the new rules are complex and the Government’s guidance has only recently been published.
Ian Pettifer, Employment Law specialist at Tayntons LLP will cover implications for businesses and set out practical working solutions to enable businesses to deal with the new law simply and straightforwardly. The objective is to provide businesses with practical working solutions to the changing legal framework.
This seminar is ‘free of charge’ with breakfast provided at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. To guarantee your place, please email to employment@tayntons.co.uk or call Julie on 01452 509850.
