Tayntons LLP Solicitors - Double Appointment

Tayntons LLP solicitors, Gloucester has kicked off 2012 with the appointment of two new solicitors.  Nicholas Southwell joins as civil litigation solicitor and Richard Thomas is a wills and probate specialist with over twenty years' of private client experience.

In his new role at Tayntons, Nicholas Southwell will be drawing on his extensive property and corporate and commercial litigation experience, and working with consultant solicitor Martin Edden to spearhead new litigation work for the practice.  Prior to Tayntons, Nicholas trained with Hampshire practice Verisona Solicitors & Advocates before joining Lyons Davidson three years ago.

Nicholas says: "I am delighted to have joined such a forward-thinking and dynamic team and I am excited about developing the civil litigation department for the benefit of both existing and new clients."

Richard Thomas has in-depth expertise in wills and probate work, handling all nature of succession, taxation and IHT issues, estate administration and laws of intestacy cases.  Initially working in the world of surveying, Richard changed career and qualified as a solicitor in 1988.  Prior to joining Tayntons, he worked at Whitemans in Gloucester and Addison O'Hare in the Midlands.

Richard says of his new role: "Tayntons has a very strong reputation for wills and probate work and I am looking forward to helping clients to navigate this area of law and protect their financial interests, whilst also providing compassionate support in times of family loss."
