South West Homes is the Government agency responsible for rolling out this new scheme, designed to help people take the first step towards home ownership.

Jim Cook explains how it works “FirstBuy is aimed primarily at First Time Buyers giving them a chance to buy a brand new home with the help of an equity loan of up to 20% of the full purchase price.  The Government has allocated 5,000 units nationally of which South West Homes should receive 20%.
