Tayntons LLP, Gloucester, Family Lawyers surprise attraction at Wedding Fayre

You wouldn’t normally expect to find solicitors at a wedding fayre unless they were the happy couple themselves but on Sunday 10th April at Westonbirt Arboretum Tayntons LLP, Gloucester Family Law Solicitors, Helen Duthie and Elizabeth Lacey took their place amongst the ubiquitous photographers, florists and cake makers to exhibit legal services with a warm, if somewhat surprised reaction from the public and other exhibitors alike. 
The practicalities of getting married and starting a life together are all too often over looked in the run up to the wedding when the bride and groom are wrapped up in booking the venue, choosing the dress and putting the finishing touches to the their big day. Mundane details can sometimes be forgotten in the excitement and solicitors Helen Duthie and Elizabeth Lacey swapped their usual divorce lawyer's hats for promoting wills and conveyancing services at Tayntons.
"Most couples will be buying a house together before they marry and Tayntons LLP can take the stress out of that so they can concentrate on the more exiting things" says Elizabeth Lacey who herself if getting married this year, "I know all too well how time consuming planning a wedding can be so if Tayntons can help out with the other stuff and offer a discount it's definitely worth it."
Helen Duthie explained to the brides and grooms-to-be, "A new marriage or re-marriage following a divorce usually cancels any previous Will. If you have set a date for a wedding it is extremely important that you contact a solicitor to make a new Will in advance of your wedding." A discount of 25% off will services was offered to all those who attended the fayre.
"We were really pleased with the reaction" says Helen Duthie. "We hoped people wouldn’t think we were taking the fun out of the day by concentrating on the serious stuff but as we pointed out, it's so important it isn't ignored".
Tayntons LLP will be attending more local wedding fayres this year and offering discounts to the attendees.
