GROWING PROBATE TEAM AT TAYNTONS LLP
Wednesday 2nd July 2008
Gloucester-based law firm Tayntons LLP has appointed Tristan Lewis as a solicitor to the wills and probate team. Tristan's arrival follows Lisa Clarke's earlier appointment to the same department as secretary and marks a growing trend in client requirements for legal services across the area.
Tristan, who lives in Worcester, specialises in inheritance tax efficient wills, financing of long term care and the protection of family capital. He qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and gained experience at Waldrons Solicitors in the Black Country. He now makes up a wills and probate team of five at Tayntons LLP.
"Tristan's addition is a positive step forward for the firm," comments Managing Partner Martin Edden.
"It will allow Tayntons to continue servicing the needs of clients who are increasingly keen to protect their assets for their families or friends in years to come.
"In a world where we are all living a lot longer and assets such as property have greatly increased in value, there is also an increasing demand to put arrangements in place for the benefit of the next generation, before nursing home fees and other related expenses can start to bite.
Family members who are left with the responsibility of care for the elderly are often unclear about the legal position in this increasingly complex area". Martin added.
During the last 12 months, the wills and probate team at Tayntons advised over 300 new clients, boosted by its highly successful Free Wills to Give campaign in the summer period.
